Guided tours of Bentivoglio's extraordinary artistic heritage. Within the enchanting 15th-century castle of the Bentivoglio family, the lords of Bologna, is an exquisite room boasting frescoes depicting the history of bread-making. The 19th-century Palazzo Rosso (literally, the Red Palace), country residence of the Marquis Carlo Alberto Pizzardi, is notable for its refined architectural decorations and the Sala dello Zodiaco (Zodiac Room) with its Art Nouveau frescoes. The 14th-century Pizzardi Mill (Mulino Pizzardi), once powered by the Navile canal, still houses the historical early 20th-century grain processing machinery to this day.
