The Musei Civici d'Arte Antica (Civic Museums of Ancient Arts) have been proposing the "Guests" initiative since 1996, during which works that may arouse interest in the singularity of their history or in what they represent, but also in their rarity, or in a particular link with the artistic heritage or the history of the art of the city are temporarily shown to the public. These loans are often real exchanges, activated during exhibitions at other Italian and international institutions. This time it is about objects coming from two German museums: a precious reliquary bust of Saint Paul's head of the 15th century from the Museum of the Cathedral in Münster and a Renaissance wooden sculpture depicting Christ the Saviour, by Gregor Erhart, from the Maximilianmuseum of Augsburg.
