From 3 October 2026 to 17 January 2027, Palazzo Pallavicini presents Un capolavoro di giornata ("A Masterpiece of a Day"), an exhibition that transforms an ordinary day in the nineteenth century into an immersive journey through art, everyday life and atmosphere.
Curated by Francesca Sinigaglia and produced by Vertigo Syndrome, the exhibition brings together outstanding works of European Realism, guiding visitors through the twenty-four hours of a single day: from waking up and working to leisure time and the quiet of the evening. The exhibition unfolds across twelve thematic sections, offering a unique perspective on nineteenth-century society, daily routines and ordinary gestures.
Enhancing the experience is a multisensory exhibition design featuring light, sound and olfactory elements, recreating the atmosphere of the places depicted and immersing visitors beyond the simple contemplation of the artworks. It is an opportunity to discover how the great nineteenth-century masters transformed scenes of everyday life into timeless masterpieces.
