Rare - Original - Vintage | A Selection of Photographs, Posters, Graphic Works and Ephemera - Third Edition is the third exhibition dedicated to a theme already explored in 2024 and 2025. Hosted at the Spazio e Immagini studio-gallery in Bologna, it presents a selection of materials chosen from the gallery’s own archive. The exhibition is open from 4 November 2026 to 15 January 2027.

The exhibition brings together a miscellany poised between document and artwork, moving across the languages of the Avant-Garde, Pop Culture and Vernacular Culture.

These themes have always defined the identity of the gallery, within an open approach to the Visual Arts. On display are photographs, posters, graphic works and drawings relating to Cinema, circus and theatre performances, Fashion, Design and Architecture, and Counterculture from the 1950s to the 1980s.

The exhibition includes original vintage photographs from Italian and international cinema of the 1950s-1970s, particularly film stills and portraits. Highlights include a rare photograph of Anita Ekberg in La dolce Vita (1960), an iconic portrait of Dodo d’Hambourgh, star and dancer at the Crazy Horse and a leading figure in the Mondo Movies, and a close-up portrait of Virna Lisi photographed by the Roman paparazzi.
