During this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided by expert mosaic artists who will introduce you to the techniques and secrets of this ancient art. You’ll learn how to handle the tools of the trade and select the most suitable materials, such as glass and colored stone tiles, to create your personal masterpiece. No prior experience is needed—just a desire to experiment and be inspired by the timeless beauty of Ravenna’s mosaics.

Participation with pets
Pets are welcome, as long as you notify us in advance when booking.
The workshop is an artisan space where marble, glass, and smalti are used: small fragments, loose tesserae or dust may be present on the floor, and other participants — including children — may be attending.
For this reason, we rely on the owner’s responsibility to assess whether their pet feels comfortable in this type of environment and can stay with them safely for the duration of the activity.
Feel free to bring a blanket, mat, or small bed so your four-legged friend can relax in a comfortable and protected space.
