Regional gastronomic histories and cultures

Every Thursday and Friday, starting September 5, there will be Slow Food appointments at Grand Tour Italia, dedicated to traveling through the times and places of food.

During these meetings, the links between food and pleasure, food and culture, and food and nature will be explored, with a focus on historical and anthropological aspects such as cooking techniques, utensils and product sourcing. Contemporary food patterns and regional cuisine will also be addressed, taking into account the ever-present contradictions in food systems.
