Baccanale 2026

From 24 October to 15 November 2026, Baccanale returns to Imola, the traditional food, wine and cultural festival that for forty years has been one of the most eagerly awaited autumn events not only in the city, but throughout the surrounding area.

Each year, the festival explores a different theme through a programme of talks, exhibitions, performances, tastings, food markets and, of course, themed menus in restaurants and agritourism venues.

At Baccanale, food takes centre stage in a series of initiatives celebrating the traditional products of the local area.

The theme of the 2026 edition is Encounters. Italian Cuisine Without Borders, placing Italian cuisine at the heart of the festival and presenting it as a living, constantly evolving heritage shaped by the encounter between different regions, cultures and influences.

The programme brings Imola’s historic centre to life and involves numerous organisations and venues throughout the surrounding area.
