Baccanale 2025

From October 25 to November 16, Baccanale returns — the traditional food, wine, and cultural festival of Imola.

Each year, the event features a different theme and a program packed with talks, exhibitions, performances, tastings, food markets, and, of course, themed menus in local restaurants and farm stays.
At Baccanale, food becomes a driving force behind initiatives that promote the region’s typical products.

The theme for the 2025 edition is “A World of Spices”, an expression that refers to multiple aspects of local cuisine and culture.

The use of spices in cooking is an art that continues to transform dishes, making them unique and surprising. Whether they are the protagonists of a recipe or used for a finishing touch, their use enhances every preparation, from marinades to drinks to the most refined sauces.

At Bacchanal every year you can discover and appreciate different nuances of taste, gastronomy and the pleasures of the table.

All expertly seasoned with animations, shows, and events that for three weeks transform Imola and its surroundings into a great stage on which historians, chefs, gastronomes, artists, and producers take turns, all united by the desire to treat food and the table in a non-trivial and repetitive manner.
