National Drag Art Festival: DRAG & FRIENDS

Drag & Friends will land in the spaces of the Ex Bocciofila Pontelungo in Bologna on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March.

For the first time, all together, 100 Drag Queens and performers from all over Italy and beyond: godmother of the event will in fact be Vanessa Van Cartier, winner of Drag Race Holland and one of the most famous Drag Queens ever as well as a judge on the Rai2 programme "Non sono una signora".

At her side, and directly from the Discovery TV programme Drag Race Italia: La Petite Noire, the dancing beauty queen from Palermo who expresses all the uniqueness of the new generation of Italian drag queens, Aura Eternal, the drag queen who combines great singing skills with a passion for make-up and a strong inspiration from the divas of the 1990s, and Tanissa Yoncè, three times winner of the title of most beautiful drag queen in Sicily.

Bologna once again demonstrates that it is at the forefront in incorporating new trends and giving voice to universes that are only apparently niche but which, in reality, intercept a vast public, as the Discovery programme - Drag Race Italia - has made clear. In fact, the first National Festival of Drag Art: DRAG & FRIENDS could only be born here.
