From May 16 to September 28, 2025, Bologna turns into a vibrant open-air stage with Bologna Estate, the summer programme promoted by the Municipality of Bologna and the Metropolitan City. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the city through concerts, open-air cinema, theatre performances, exhibitions, talks, festivals and activities for all ages, set in the most charming spots of the historic centre and surrounding neighbourhoods.

With over 380 free and widespread events, Bologna Estate 2025 invites both locals and visitors to enjoy a summer filled with creative energy, culture, community and fun. Everyday places – parks, squares, museums and public spaces – become the heart of an urban journey that embraces the entire metropolitan area.
