Fattori. Humanity translated into painting

From December 16th 2022 to May 1st 2023 at Palazzo Fava there will be the “Fattori. L’umanità tradotta in pittura” exhibition, realized in collaboration with Istituto Matteucci. The exhibition itinerary presents a selection of more than 70 pieces by the undisputed master Giovanni Fattori, pioneer of the XX century modernity.

The exhibit wants to display his both lover and disillusioned look on existence. Fattori has the capacity to capture the immutability of the human sentiment, the eternity under the circumstance. It will be possible to follow the whole creative evolution of his painting, incorporating the selection in tematic units.

The exhibit is curated by Claudia Fulgheri, Elisabetta Matteucci and Francesca Panconi.
