Bertozzi & Casoni. Tranche de vie

From 28 October 2023 to 25 February 2024 Imola will dedicate ample space to the famous artistic duo, with an exhibition event involving all three of Imola's public museums: Palazzo Tozzoni (only here until April 1), Museo San Domenico and Rocca Sforzesca.

Curated by Diego Galizzi, director of Imola Musei, the exhibition is organised by the Municipality of Imola - Imola Musei, thanks to the support of various local entities including the Cooperativa Ceramica di Imola, the project's main partner.

Bertozzi & Casoni have revolutionised the role of ceramics in contemporary art. With their astonishing creations, they have established themselves as Rule Breakers, breakers of rules and traditions. Without ever betraying their proudly 'artisanal' approach, they have thrown behind them so many preconceptions and self-imposed limitations of artistic ceramics, setting new goals for it and bringing it out of the fences of a somewhat marginal discipline and into the upper echelons of the great art that counts.
