On March 9 at the Rocca di Bentivoglio in Valsamoggia, a photographic exhibition dedicated to the development of amateur astronomy following the thread of the history of the Associazione Astrofili Bolognesi, will be inaugurated.
Through a series of panels, the evolutionary path of observational and photographic techniques available to the many amateur astronomers is illustrated, which, in some cases, preceded the discoveries of their fellow astronomers.
Two guided tours by the Associazione Astrofili Bolognesi are planned:
- Sunday, March 17 - 3:30 pm
- Monday, April 1 hours - 3:30 pm

The exhibition will be hosted in the portico on the ground floor of the Rocca dei Bentivoglio. The venue is free of architectural barriers and there are dedicated restrooms
