Welcome is Bologna

Promenade a Bologna

We have chosen to describe Bologna through the eyes of its inhabitants, by those who know the city and experience it every day, through their memories and locations that have a special place in their heart. Starting from the medieval historical town, under the very long Porticoes, until reaching the district of Imola, the green expanses of the Plain, the mountains of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and finally also making a stop in Modena. Each story takes us into a Promenade, those paths that are not preconstructed but vivid suggestions to learn more about the territory surrounding us.

Who takes part in describing the anecdotes

Paolo Fresu, jazz musician and recordist, discovers where, among clubs and theatres, the music of the UNESCO Creative City is born. Mauro Forghieri, former technical director of the Scuderia Ferrari, remembers how the Motorvalley has given rise to today's motoring nobility. Alberto Bettini, owner of the historical trattoria Da Amerigo, retraces the destinations of excellence in taste and excellent local products. Elisa Vincenzi, architect, gives her advice on the places to choose to unwind from the stress of daily life, plunging deeply into the uncontaminated nature surrounding us. Gian Luca Farinelli, director of the Bologna Film Archive, makes us dream in the scenery of the past, under the stars of the great Cinema.
