The municipal swimming pool of Porretta Terme is located very close to the historic town center and is surrounded by greenery. It is traditionally referred to as "Olympic-sized" due to its 50-meter length and 25-meter width, although it does not have the constant 2-meter depth required by FINA standards.
The main pool features a diving board and a spiral slide for younger visitors to enjoy. There is also a small pool dedicated to children, ample green space, picnic tables, a beach volleyball court, and an air-conditioned gym.
The refreshment area offers locally sourced products, and themed events—sometimes held in the evening—are frequently organized. Swimming courses are available for all ages and skill levels, as well as scuba diving and apnea courses, including for teens.
