PORTANOVA12 is a contemporary art gallery, located in the medieval heart of Bologna, focusing on the various urban art practices. It is a space where passion is transformed into action. The gallery’s goal is to give artists (ranging from graffiti writers, to street artists to muralists) a space where they can exhibit site-specific works. PORTANOVA12 organizes shows where handcraft and conceptual coincide, showcasing projects which highlight the complexity of art. PORTANOVA12 is a young gallery, but it has hosted many internationally succesful artists’ solo shows, including NeSpoon, Opiemme, Dissenso Cognitivo, UNO, Etnik, Gola Hundun, 2501.
