Bologna
CAR is an independent site art space located in Bologna's MDA district area in a tiny space as a project-room for contemporary art, with the aim of promoting and developing contemporary artistic practice. It offered a year around exhibition programs predominantly focused on a selection of emerging international artists. CAR looks forward to creating an intimate space where an artist can introduce a single artwork or a coherent body of works, across a range of practices and media. CAR actively seeks to collaborate with other interested parties in pursuing the development of special projects, designed to encourage the flow of artists within Italy and abroad. CAR DRDE is a project in partnership with MDA development association.
