On Friday 7th December at 12 am, Xing presents Midnight Snack, a new night-time performance by Silvia Costa and Claudio Rocchetti inspired by the existential experimentalism of Amelia Rosselli, an ambiguous figure from the intellectual generation of the 1930s loaded with obsessions. Midnight Snack is an intensification of actions and threads that light up when everything else is silent and supposed to be sleeping. It is an inappropriate activity, a hungry adolescent drive that feeds ransacking the poetic cathedral erected by Amelia Rosselli, a searching poet, organist and ethnomusicologist who turned verses into musical problems and content into psychic impulse.
