Un’estate… classica!

From Tuesday, September 8 to Thursday, September 10 and from Tuesday, September 15 to Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 6:00 pm, Fantateatro presents the series A Classical Summer! at Teatro Duse.

The performances are designed for families, children and young audiences, offering an engaging introduction to the language of classical dance.

• September 8, 9 and 10, 2026 – 6:00 pm
  THE FIREBIRD
  Based on the ballet by Igor Stravinsky
  Fantateatro stages Stravinsky's celebrated ballet, telling the story of Prince Ivan, who is helped by the Firebird in his quest to win the heart of the princess he loves. An opportunity for young audiences to discover the music of one of the world's greatest composers and the grace and elegance of classical ballet.

• September 15, 16 and 17, 2026 – 6:00 pm
  SLEEPING BEAUTY
  Based on the ballet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
  In a faraway kingdom, a grand celebration is held for the birth of Princess Aurora. All the good fairies are invited, except the evil fairy Carabosse, who casts a terrible curse: on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora will prick her finger on a spindle and die. The Lilac Fairy softens the curse, turning it into a long enchanted sleep that can only be broken by the kiss of a young prince.
