The first piano festival in the City of Music Pianofortissimo, the international piano festival started up by Inedita in 2013, is a truly unique part of Bologna’s music history, as such an event dedicated to piano had never been organised despite the city’s long-standing piano tradition. Inedita chose to celebrate this significant heritage as well as Unesco's recognition of the city as Creative City of Music. The excellent results obtained during the previous six editions (2013-2018) confirm the uniqueness and importance of the objective that has always been at the heart of the event, whilst making it particularly important within the music events organized in Bologna.
