The Plains
The exhibition, curated by Vittorio Spampinato (Director of Ca’ la Ghironda - ModernArtMuseum) and Walter Marchionni (Director of Museum MAGMMA) is made up of 30 incisions by Édouard Manet (1832-1883) from the Ceribelli Collection in Bergamo. These incisions were previously displayed in Raphael’s birthplace and will then be showcased at Museum MAGMMA in Villacidro (SU) from May 4th to June 10th 2019. This second event, following that of Rembrandt - the Incisioni exhibition in Ca’ la ghironda (February - April 2018), MAGMMA and Modern Art Museum Ca’ la Ghironda - Città Metropolitana di Bologna is a confirmation of the willingness to continue along this path, i.e. of presenting artists of international fame who have made incisions part of their artistic lives thereby contributing to history.
