From 15 to 26 July, the Sala Scuderie inside Sala Borsa hosts "Sentieri di speranza. L'Odissea della libertà" (Paths of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom), a photographic exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Bologna by the Allied troops, with the fundamental contribution of the Polish 2nd Army Corps.
Through images and testimonies, the exhibition recounts the decisive role of the Polish armed forces in the city's liberation and retraces the routes that many soldiers followed to return home, after fighting for freedom in a foreign land. This is an initiative promoted by the Committee for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Bologna and the Gothic Line.
The inauguration is scheduled for Saturday 19 July at 6 p.m. in Piazza Coperta, in the presence of Ambassador Anna Maria Anders, daughter of General Władysław Anders, who led the Polish 2nd Army Corps in Italy.
