With Bologna’s porticoes nomination to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sculptor Ivan Dimitrov paid homage to the city with an exhibition featuring over 60 pieces depicting various views of the city made using the painted bas-relief technique. Ivan Dimitrov is a well-know sculptor who moved to Italy in the 1980s. “His” Bologna is a city to be discovered - hidden and intimate - whose protagonists are quiet corners, alleyways, roofs, long sunny porticoes and peeling walls drenched in poetry. The exhibition is sponsored by Quartiere Santo Stefano, Regione Emilia-Romagna and Associazione per le Arti “Francesco Francia” and is organised by Galleria Studio Santo Stefano in Bologna. It will be open every day, festivities included, from October 31st to November 25th 2018. More info and updates on wwww.ivandimitrov.com
