Villa Massei - A journey among Villas and Castles

Villa Massei holds a history that spans centuries and many transformations.
 

Originally linked to the Celestine Fathers, the property passed into private hands following the Napoleonic confiscations, eventually coming into the possession of Count Massei, to whom we owe the transformation that still characterises its appearance today: Ghibelline battlements, pointed arches and a central tower with a watchtower.
 

Surrounding the villa is a spacious park featuring centuries-old trees and exotic species, including an imposing Lebanese cedar. The interiors, with their frescoes, together with the garden, the orchard and the fountains fed by spring water, complete the story of a residence deeply rooted in history and the surrounding landscape.
