Discover the historic and institutional heart of Bologna with a guided tour inside Palazzo d’Accursio, overlooking the picturesque Piazza Maggiore.

A walk to discover the Town Hall: from its origins in the 12th century to the present day. Formerly the seat of the city magistrates and a papal residence, the building has served many purposes and welcomed visiting emperors and sovereigns, whilst still housing the political and institutional heart of Bologna today.

You will meet your guide at the Bologna Welcome Tourist Office, at Piazza Maggiore 1/e. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before the tour starts.
