On Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 9:00 pm, Teatri di Vita presents the performance Together Alone (Vienudu).
The duet by dancers Laurynas Žakevičius and Rokas Šaltenis takes shape as a dialogue with oneself and with the other. By exploring movement and its fluidity in breakdance, while at the same time comparing it with Lithuanian folk dance, the performance seeks a form capable of expressing the identity of the male dancer. Becoming reflections of one another, in today’s world of norms, prejudices and stereotypes, the performers attempt to return to themselves, to find strength in sensitivity, to recognize themselves in the other and to perceive the other within duality. Laurynas Žakevičius is a social pedagogue, anti-bullying programme instructor, dancer and teacher. He founded Low Air Dance Theatre, the first theatre in Lithuania based on the principles of urban dance. Rokas Šaltenis, known as B-Boy Rukus, is a Lithuanian breakdancer, known for taking part in international events and for his work with Low Air Dance Theatre.
