Karina Tseng | Circolo della Musica di Bologna

On Sunday April 12 2026, the Circolo della Musica di Bologna, at the Andrea Baldi Hall in Rastignano, hosts the pianist Karina Tseng.

Karina Tseng is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. In 2025 she won first prize at the Concorso Andrea Baldi (Bologna, Italy) and received special recognitions at the National Chopin Competitions (Miami, USA), the Ricard Viñes (Lleida, Spain), and the Samson François (Nice, France). Karina has performed alongside the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, the Seattle Festival Orchestra, the Palo Alto Philharmonic, and the New Millennium Chamber Orchestra. An artist who values connection and interaction with the audience, she continues to build a diverse solo and chamber repertoire.

Karina is a student of Alexander Kobrin at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano, Switzerland, and of André Gallo at the Fondazione Accademia Internazionale di Imola “Incontri col Maestro”.

In addition to her Bachelor in Piano Performance, Karina earned a Bachelor in Business Information Systems (with a minor in Computer Science) from the University of Rochester, along with Certificates of Excellence in Chamber Music and Artistic Leadership.
