FIRST WORK. GARDANO, VENICE, 1629
The concert program focuses on the figure of the Veronese composer Dionisio Bellante, reformer of the Musical Chapel of the Cathedral of Verona in the second half of the seventeenth century, and in particular rediscovers his first publication, published in 1629 when he was only 19 years old. A collection of madrigals that reveals the genius of a composer fully son of his time, in which the great Renaissance tradition is still alive but the Baroque revolution is bursting out.
