After the summer break, the concerts of the Circolo della Musica di Bologna will resume on Sunday, September 28, in memory of Luciano Biasini, at the Auditorium Andrea e Rossano Baldi in Rastignano with a very special recital by Luca Rasca, the award-winning pianist who is painstakingly pursuing his project of performing Chopin's complete works in a concert hall. It is difficult to summarize the extensive resume of this 53-year-old pianist in just a few lines. He returns to the Circolo della Musica for the sixth stage of his powerful, ten-evening complete performance of the piano works of Fryderyk Chopin, which will likely conclude in 2028. His is an almost titanic undertaking with few precedents (Brailowski, Ashkenase, Magaloff, Harasiewicz, El Bacha), spread across ten concerts attended by a persistent and loyal audience that gathers around this prolific interpreter, known for his crystalline musicality and his extraordinary pianistic stamina. He was a student of Franco Scala, is now a professor at the Pesaro Conservatory and the Accademia del Ridotto di Stradella (PV), and has won various international competitions including the London Piano Competition, Busoni di Bolzano, Palma d'Oro di Finale Ligure, Schubert di Dortmund, and Scriabin di Grosseto.
