The Plains
The International Ocarina Festival of Budrio, now in its twelfth edition, will be held from 10 to 13 April 2025 in the historic centre of Budrio, celebrating the instrument that is a symbol of Budrio's cultural heritage.
The edition will feature guests, musicians and makers from all over the world. In the 1980s and 1990s, in fact, this particular wind instrument spread to countries such as China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan, becoming a cult object for all fans who, every two years, make this small musical pilgrimage to the ocarina's place of origin.
During the festival, there will be many events dedicated to this special instrument: concerts with soloists from all over the world, musical animations in the streets, exhibitions, concerts and much more.
