September is the month of the grape harvest and FICO is ready to celebrate grapes, wines and the profession of winemakers with events dedicated to the discovery of peasant traditions.
Every weekend of the month, children can have fun in the Park's vineyard with the ancient rite of harvesting and pressing: starting from the saddle of the small tractors, the children will participate in a race to the last bunch where the winner will be whoever is able to produce more juice. grapes by pressing grains and bunches with the feet, just like tradition.
The key event is scheduled for Saturday 24 September with the Grape Harvest Festival, when the Park will be transformed into a large cellar with many activities for adults and children, music and tastings. During the weekends of 10-11 and 17-18 September the unmissable event for all lovers of the most famous dish of Spanish gastronomy: paella returns to FICO!
To frame the double appointment with the Paella Festival will be the magical orchard of the Park where, in addition to enjoying fish or vegetable paella together with a glass of sangria, on Saturdays it will be possible to attend the performance of the AlquimiaFlamenca dance school and let loose on the dance floor with the Latin rhythm of Bologna Tango Lab.
