The Plains< 40 Km from Bologna
On Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Alberino (Via Severino Ferrari, San Pietro Capofiume), the traditional event known as the “investitura del maiale” takes place—an age-old custom rooted in the rural communities of Emilia-Romagna and surrounding areas, where pork processing becomes a collective ritual and a moment of shared community life.
From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there will be tastings of local cured meats, a meat-processing workshop, and markets featuring typical regional products.
