The Renaissance Festival 2022

39th Edition The Renaissance Festivals of Castel del Rio revive the sumptuous atmospheres of the 16th century. It will be a great festival in honour of the Alidosi seigniory. A historical procession of 400 participants in Renaissance costumes will be the prelude to glorious dinners and celebrations. The atmosphere and tastes of the period will be reconstructed. Among the many events on the programme are the Historical Procession in the evocative setting of Palazzo Alidosi, the Palio del Biroccio, animations and period reconstructions, the historical market and military camps, and evening shows. The highlight of the festival will be the traditional and exciting trial of the Witch, followed by the burning with fireworks at the Alidosi Bridge.
