The first edition of the Bologna Portici Festival will be held from 13 to 18 June, a great urban festival to celebrate the recognition of the Portici as a Unesco World Heritage Site, with events in many places in the city.
Dance and music will animate the Cortile del Museo Civico Medievale, the Oratorio di San Filippo Neri and the Voltone del Baraccano; among the most awaited shows are "Cosmo Panico", curated by Gender Bender with the company Igor x Moreno, "DISTANCE" by Instabili Vaganti and "All'inizio della città di Roma" curated by Danza Urbana with choreographer Claudia Castellucci.
At the Museo Civico Medievale the exhibition 'The Dance of the Hands" will show precious artefacts from all over Italy to celebrate the art of lace. There will be also many guided tours to discover exceptionally open buildings - such as the 16th-century Palazzo Bonasoni in via Galliera. The heart of this preview are the performances created within the large 'creative workshop' opened in the summer of 2022 thanks to PON European funds for cultural inclusion.
