Bologna is hosting an unmissable event for publishing professionals, bringing together three major events: the Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF), a global benchmark for children's literature; BolognaBookPlus (BBPlus), a section dedicated to general publishing; and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids (BLTF/Kids), focused on the world of licensing for children and young people.
From April 13 to 16, 2026, these three fairs will be held simultaneously, creating an important meeting opportunity for industry professionals, with a focus on publishing rights, licensing, illustration, and audiovisuals.
The guest of honor in 2026 will be Norway, which will present a dedicated program of exhibitions, meetings, and workshops, both at the fair and in the city.
The Bologna Children's Book Fair is organized with the support and collaboration of the ICE Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
