For its 11th edition, RestArt Spot returns to transform Imola's urban spaces through street art and contemporary art, with a special focus on the Pontesanto neighborhood.
The event represents an important urban regeneration initiative aimed at enhancing often forgotten transit places. This year's art project focuses on the concept of “urban nature,” involving 20 emerging artists, will transform some railway underpasses into true oases of beauty and reflection. The works, inspired by the metaphor of the oasis, aim to create a strong contrast between the hustle and bustle of city life and the serenity of nature, raising visitors' awareness of the importance of preserving spaces of connection and tranquility even within the urban context.
On the second weekend, the program of activities will expand with two special events:
- “Graffiti Bike,” a bicycle tour that will guide participants to discover urban regeneration sites from previous festivals.
- “Theater Workshop” led by Federico Caiazzo, which will address issues related to various art forms such as painting, film and theater.
