From October 15, 2025 to January 22, 2026, Spazio Labo’ hosts the exhibition ‘Om/Mother: a collaborative project between Belgian photographer Barbara Debeuckelaere and the women of eight Palestinian families from Tel Rumeida, a neighborhood of Hebron/H2 in the West Bank.
In the collective project ‘Om/Mother’, the Palestinian women of Tel Rumeida assert their autonomy by using the camera to document their lives, their homes, and their surrounding environment. Photography is used to convey their perseverance and to denounce their condition: by showing the world their determination to continue their daily lives under occupation, these women take part in the most extreme act of resistance.
