On Thursday 26 February 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Museo d'Arte Lercaro, the exhibition Fractio Panis opens, featuring works by Ettore Frani, Matteo Lucca and Daniela Novello, leading figures on the contemporary art scene, curated by Giovanni Gardini.
The project invites reflection on the value of bread as a central element in human life, both in its everyday dimension and in its spiritual and Eucharistic meaning. Bread runs through the main spheres of existence: it speaks of work and sharing, forgiveness and memory; it evokes the earth and the beauty of the fields, water and the warmth of fire. Within it, ancient traditions are layered, where different generations meet and engage in dialogue.
Ettore Frani, Matteo Lucca and Daniela Novello — artists with international experience who have long explored this universal theme — have been invited to create a human and spiritual journey capable of revealing the essential meaning of bread. Their works address the visitor directly, prompting meditation on bread as a place of encounter among people and as a possibility for dialogue between the human and the divine.
