Nineteenth-century painting in Persiceto between history and costume

As part of the widespread exhibition Painting in Bologna in the Long Nineteenth Century | 1796 - 1915, the city of San Giovanni in Persiceto will put its 19th-century heritage on display, with the opening of four exhibition venues: the Historical Municipal Theatre, the Collegiate Church of San Giovanni Battista, the adjacent Museum of Sacred Art, and the Civic Picture Gallery in the Choir of the Church of the Belt.

The exhibition will be held from 7 April to 30 June and offers a unique opportunity to admire landscapes, portraits, religious and historical subjects little known to scholars and the citizens of Persiceto themselves.
