From November 8th to 23rd, 2025, the Baraccano Complex, in the Sala Possati, will host Encounters and Dialogues, a photographic exhibition by Bruno Samorì.
Bruno Samorì’s academic career as a university professor at the University of Bologna came to a close in 2015, after being constantly enriched by an international scientific activity that contributed to the birth of Nanotechnology. Since then, his scientific approach has been revitalized through a new “game” of his own making—combining his longstanding passion for photography with computer-based digital techniques.
This led to his unique approach of creating photographic images that bring to life “crossings and dialogues” within his many photos, which over the years have been tied to different emotions: human presence, works of art, and the textures of landscapes.
This exhibition will present, for the first time, a selection of his photographic compositions that intertwine details—sometimes seemingly minor—taken from ancient and modern works of art from different times and places.
The exhibition is curated by art critic Milena Naldi and promoted by the non-profit organization Probone Italia Onlus, which provides support and integrated assistance to underprivileged patients from around the world suffering from musculoskeletal disorders.
Proceeds from the sale of the exhibited works will be donated to Probone Italia Onlus.
