From 10 November 2023 to 4 February 2024, Genus Bononiae and Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna present an exhibition tracing the life and works of Ilario rossi.
The exhibition will be held in Santa Maria della Vita and ranges from a self-portrait from 1929 to a Still Life with Flowers from 1994, the year in which the artist passed away.
Ilario Rossi was one of the leading artists in post-Morandi Bologna. He devoted himself to painting still lifes, landscapes, but also portraits and figures, interpreting them through a highly personal intimist vision.
