From 7 September to 5 October 2026, Ducati shares its Centenary celebrations with Bologna, the city where its story began and has continued for one hundred years.
Four iconic locations in Bologna's historic centre host a city-wide exhibition dedicated to the skill and craftsmanship behind the motorcycles produced at the Borgo Panigale factory, as well as to innovation, design and the Collezione100, created by bringing together today's Ducati models with the liveries that have marked the brand's history.
- At Salaborsa, in the setting of the Piazza Coperta, Giovanni De Sandre's photographs take visitors inside the factory, portraying the people, tools and different stages of production. The images tell the story of a working environment where experience and technology go hand in hand. At the centre of the hall is the mechanical base of the Superleggera V4 Centenario, representing the highest level of Ducati technology.
- At Palazzo Pepoli, home to the Museum of the History of Bologna, documents, images and objects trace this relationship: from Ducati's early activities in radio communications to the beginning of motorcycle production and the company as it is today. The story of a business thus becomes part of the story of the city where it was founded.
- At Galleria Cavour, drawings, models and design solutions reveal the work behind every motorcycle. From the first lines to the study of surfaces, the exhibition shows how a vision takes on proportions, materials and character. A journey into Ducati design, where every detail helps make each motorcycle instantly recognisable.
- Palazzo Boncompagni hosts the Collezione100, a project created to celebrate the liveries that have marked key moments in Ducati's history. Ten contemporary motorcycles are displayed alongside the models that inspired them. Colours, shapes and graphic details connect different eras and show how Ducati's heritage continues to live on in today's designs. Works by Ugo Nespolo accompany the motorcycles with an artistic narrative made up of bold lines, vivid colours and new perspectives on the Ducati world.
