Guided tour in National Gallery of Bologna

The National Gallery of Bologna offers a series of tours or family activities to discover the museum's collections.

The event will provide an opportunity to discover some of the leading figures in Bolognese art from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The works by Vitale and Pseudo Jacopino are valuable examples of the vibrant artistic scene in this university city during the first half of the 14th century. Francesco Francia’s *Nativity* is a masterpiece commissioned by Giovanni II Bentivoglio, Lord of Bologna. Finally, through the paintings by the Vivarini brothers, Perugino and Parmigianino, we will be able to appreciate the significant contributions made by foreign masters to local painting.
