From September 21, 2024 to May 4, 2025, Palazzo Fava will host an exhibition by Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, known for his commitment to human rights advocacy.
Entitled Ai Weiwei. Who am I?, the exhibition draws inspiration from a dialogue between the artist and an artificial intelligence, highlighting Ai Weiwei's conflict between tradition and innovation. His relentless pursuit of truth, combined with his ability to use a wide range of media to communicate provocative and complex ideas, makes this exhibition a pivotal event in the contemporary art scene.
Promoted by Fondazione Carisbo as part of the cultural project Genus Bononiae and produced by Opera Laboratori in collaboration with Galleria Continua, the exhibition is curated by Arturo Galansino.
