Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 9:00 p.m., at the Unipol Auditorium Enea Mazzoli, the theatrical performance Sposerò Biagio Antonacci (“I Will Marry Biagio Antonacci”) will take the stage.
How can a woman survive domestic violence? Music, happy-ending novels, and an imaginary marriage become the lifeline of an ordinary housewife.
With irony, simplicity, and at times disarming honesty, the woman retraces the story of her life—confined within her home, searching for a guilt that doesn’t exist. Her dream of marrying her beloved singer is a pretext for addressing a tragically familiar issue that remains far from resolved. Only at the end do we understand where she is, to whom she is speaking, and why.
A performance that invites reflection: it must never be considered normal for a woman to be killed, harassed, or forced to endure any form of violence by men unworthy of that name.
The performance is part of the seventh edition of Non ballo da sola, the traveling series of events held in observance of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
