On Sunday, 21 December 2025, at the Museum of Music in Bologna, Without a Script. The Museum, All of a Sudden! takes the stage, an improvisational theatre performance that “recreates” the Museum of Music.
A show “without a script” and without scenery—rather, one in which the Museum of Music becomes a forge of unrepeatable stories. Objects, anecdotes, and characters connected to the museum are transformed, thanks to suggestions from the audience, into improvisations created on the spot: a theatrical game without a safety net, where anything can happen.
Actors Daniele Cordella, Valentina Accardi, and Lorenzo Mannella, together with the live music of Marco Pedrazzi, bring to life a fully participatory experience. All it takes is a word, an emotion, a memory to ignite the scene: the audience is an active part of the creative process, providing input that immediately becomes material for storytelling.
Amid Mozart’s incorrect homework, perfect yet unplayable keyboards, first and only editions full of self-importance, tortures in the name of opera, and Barbers here and there, the performers reinvent every story in ever-changing styles, playing with rhythm, energy, and spontaneous invention. And with spectators invited to intervene, comment, and even step onto the stage, helping to shape narrative worlds born in the moment.
The result is an irresistible comic, dynamic, and engaging improjam, offering every guest a unique experience: a museum/theatre that comes into being here and now, and that can never be repeated in the same way again!
A production by 16LAB for the Museum of Music.
