The Asinelli Tower is closed for works in the area until further notice.

For refunds or information please refer to: 

or visit the Bologna Welcome Tourist Office located in Piazza Maggiore 1/e during the following hours:

  • Monday-Saturday 9am-7pm
  • Sunday 10am-5pm
  • Closed: 25 December

The Asinelli Tower remains closed to the public. 

The closure of Piazza di Porta Ravegnana and the fencing of the Garisenda Tower is confirmed until the completion of restoration work.

From 23 October 2023 the Asinelli Tower is closed to allow monitoring works on the Garisenda Tower, which will involve cordoning off an area around the tower with some detours to mobility.
