BolognaHistorical shops
From the heart of the ‘Quadrilatero’, where in 1937 Tigrino took over the historic jeweller’s (founded in 1903 by Marcello Bertolotti), the shop relocated to via dell’Inferno in the former Jewish ghetto. The windows overlooking the open space near the ancient synagogue are filled with displays of the beautiful articles produced by this family business. Right from a tender age, Marco was fascinated by the magic of metal that was transformed into objects in his father’s workshop and today, in the jeweller’s which he has run together with his sister Carla since 1963, he designs and creates jewellery, reproduces precious metal objects using ancient techniques and creates stylish jewellery and products for museum merchandising.
