Recently the Pinacoteca was moved to Le Scuole complex, just renovated.
It features a large collection of artworks, enriched over the years by significant private donations.
The most ancient items are those coming from abolished churches and confraternities, such as the reliquary statue of the Madonna with Child (XIV century) and the Antifonari Miniati (XII – XIV sec).
The exhibition itinerary highlights the 17th century paintings made by Guercino and Scarsellino scholars.
The contemporary branch includes works of the Pievese artist Antonio Alberghini, together with the artworks of Severo Pozzati, Norma Mascellani, Pirro Cuniberti, and other Italian artists.
A section is dedicated to the Art of Glass: a collection of glass "jewels", coming from different donations.
