mtn | museo temporaneo navile is a Silla Guerrini and Marcello Tedesco’s artistic project supported by Valdadige Sistemi Urbani, sponsored by Comune di Bologna, in collaboration with Quartiere Navile. mtn came to light from the will of bringing about a experimental centre of art in the very heart of Quartiere Navile. The museums is conceived as a sort of organism which is nicely linked with the citylife’s web. So mtm is a linving centre in which sharing artistic researches, capable of rhythmically interacting with contemporaneity. Since 2019 five artists are invited to present a project specifically realized for mtn | museo temporaneo navile. The theme of territoriality is the starting point from which the researches of the artists will take place, with the aim of finding out new ways of looking at the territory. mtn project has undoubtedly challenging aims, but we think the art is capable by itself of giving birth to new standpoints as well as a jointly liable cooperation between the members of society. mtn | museo temporaneo navile is hosted in the Navile trilogy. It is dedicated to the memory of Palma Bucarelli.
