Established in the nineteen eighties by Marco Bottai in the university area, the “Galleria Spazia” has concentrated on Abstractism with special interest in that of the fifties. Since 1995 the Gallery has been housed in the most charming alleys of the former Jewish ghetto, where the works of international artists have been displayed and exhibitions of historic and contemporary photography and sculpture have been held. The Gallery also has a particular interest in young artists and contemporary African art. Since 2002 the Gallery has also held international events at Villa Paleotti Isolani. A strong interest for kinetic art it has developed in recent times with artists like Gianni Colombo, Toni Costa, Dadamaino, Massironi.
